Marchesa crazy!

I was looking  at pictures from the 2010 spring fashion week in New York, and I  fell in love with the clothes from Marchesa!!!! I had never heard of it before but now I'm a total convert!

 

  

  

  

 

Cooking Frenzy!!

First of all I have to say "Happy Valentines Day" - a couple days late!! And Buon Carnivale! We finally got a break from school for Carnivale ( a three day weekend - big break!)! So pretty much I did absolutely nothing productive for the first part, but then of course, I started to feel bad about not doing anything so I had to do something! And my idea of something to do all started after watching Julie and Julia!!(A great movie about Julia Child- you have to love Maryl Streep) so naturally, after I saw the movie I just had to cook something. This resulted in me cooking all of Tuesday - not that I'm complaining, here's what I made:

 

 Ingredients for french baguette! 

  

 Mixing 'em all up!

  

 Toasting bread for bruschetta !

  

 Cutting the tomato and basil!

  

 Ummmmm... delicious bruschetta with a topping of basil olive oil!

  

 Asortment of cheeses that we found in the market! ( I love brie, and most stinky cheese!!)

  

 The baguette didn't last long enough to take a picture!

  

Ingredients for French chicken with a mushroom sherry cream sauce -  

 

And french chicken with a mushroom moscato ( we were out of sherry!) cream sauce!!

NEW FIND - THE COOL HUNTER

MOMS 50TH BIRTHDAY!!

Well we just got back from my mom's 50th Birthday Party!!! I WAS SOOO MUCH FUN!! There was a live band and lots and lots of dancing! Here are some of the pictures. There will be more!

MINI in Chelsea!!!

The area that we were staying in London just happened to be the hot spot for every mini cooper driver or range rover driver in town! So I started taking pictures of all the different minis that I saw (I chose the mini because, of course, it’s cuter than the range rover!). The scary thing is that I have more pictures than those here and I only started taking pictures of these cars three days before we left! It's official . The mini cooper takeover of the world has started and its started in Chelsea!
