Hey everyone and happy first of December!!! Today is the first day of advent and with this starts the countdown to Christmas and for me the countdown to when we go on holiday, which by the way, will be on the 13th!!! I can’t stop thinking about it. This morning my mom and I were jumping around excitedly about the whole first of December thing and all that, so when Olivia finally staggered out of bed she was completely aware of the fact that she was born into a family of kooks! But how could we not be excited, I mean look at all the things that December means: drinking hot apple cider ( or any hot drink for that matter), going on vacation early, having a tree with brightly colored lights, going on vacation early, eating warm delicious foods, going on vacation early, Yankee candles, playing in the snow ( if location allows - we are not so lucky which is why we are going on vacation early!!!), seeing family, advent, Christmas (of course), parties, Christmas movies and tons and tons more. Oh did I mention going on vacation early!!
Well I don’t know if you noticed but I haven’t been very diligent in my blogging ( I hope that’s a verb now!)

any who, I have decided to try out a little project where I will post something for every day of advent. These post will be about Christmas, December, our early holiday and other adventy things! So watch out because by the end you will not want to know ANY more about December or Christmas!!

Well in our house in December, every night that we can, we eat off of our Christmas dishes. These are dishes that my mom has been collecting for many years (I’m guessing by the number of sets) and there is always an “argument” over who gets their favorite set:
Not that you would be able to tell from the view from our balcony that it’s December!
