Travel books and Smoothies and long hot days!

Yesterday spent the majority of the day finalizing plans for our trip! We could finally sit back with a smoothie in hand and actually read about the places that we'll be visiting and figure out what we want to see and do there ... hence the many Rick Steve and other travel books lying around in the pictures below! There are so many things to see my brain is spinning with all the sites to see and things to remember! thank god for rick steves!!!

“The worst thing about being a tourist is having other tourists recognize you as a tourist.”

I found these pictures from the Italian vogue... they show EXACTLY what Olivia and I will look like on our euro trip next mouth! In fact I think they are exact copies of us- we do travel in such style! We will be traveling to Paris, Amsterdam, Geneva, Venice, Florence and Rome. It will defiantly be an adventure at the very least!

“Boy, those French. They have a different word for everything.”

1st part of '09 vacation ( Skiing in Austria

Merry Christmas!!! And A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!! We just got back from AN AMAZING 3 week vacation and I have decided that I am going to move to London because that is the BEST city on this side of the world (that I have seen). But first we spent a week in Austria learning how to ski!! Well actually I really only learned how to snow plow down the mountain (but I am a master at it!) and Olivia and Dad became world class snowboarders.

The beautiful mountains covered in clouds so you can't see them!

Olivia! She looks sooo cool!

The skateboarding helped him alot- thats my excuse for why he was so good!

You see that small person in the corner, yeah that was mom- she skied when she was younger and didn’t have the patience to stop and pose for a picture!!!! No it was more like our terrible photography!!oh but she does look good!! She was the only one who didn't fall at all!

Olivia calls this my deer in the head lights picture, but I think it’s just a great example of my awesome snow plowing ability – it should really be an Olympic sport!!

At the end of july my mom took me and my sisters to visit her side of the family in Connecticut, we had so much fun. We hadn't see everyone in 8 years, BIG REUNION! So the first day we went out to Madison beach with my grandma, grandpa and of course Jenny! We had to visit the famous Lenny and Jo's fish food place and eat lobster. this has been a family tradition for many years. If they have platinum cards for the mileage you get there my grandma would be the first to have one Then before our heads hit the ground we walked down to the beach... it wasn't to sunny but very peaceful.
